i came across this website today: www.kickstarter.com – it is a website that gets people like you and me to help finance the dreams of other creative souls. projects range from books to music to art to inventions and one of my favorites, “pie lab”.
pie lab is a coalition of designers and artists who were creating pop up spaces to invite communities to come and express themselves (and of course, have a slice of pie)…they posted a fundraiser on kickstarter to get funds to build out a permanent space. it’s all about coming together for the common good! www.pielab.orgImage may be NSFW.
